MERINO COMPACT

Info and fields of application

Merino Compact is a thick laminate made up of decorative paper on the external faces of the panel and an internal core made up of several layers of kraft paper (brown or black). The laminate is impregnated in thermosetting resins (melamine and phenolic) and pressed at a pressure of about 10 MPA and a temperature of about 160°C.
Panels made in this way ensure superior mechanical properties to traditional wood-based panels and can be used for both vertical and horizontal uses.

Merino compact laminates are available in various thicknesses, their use can avoid the use of a substrate, and are useful where self-supporting panels are required for decorative purposes.

They are usually used to make furniture, partitions, cubicles, panels, vehicle parts and areas with very high cleanliness and hygiene requirements.
